A mixed lot of ten First World War period German East Africa banknotes issued at Dar es Salaam (now Tanzania), each constructed of off white composite paper with black ink, featuring eight 1 Rupie notes and one 5 Rupie note, the former all measuring approximately 103 mm (w) x 63 mm (h), the latter measuring 120 mm (w) x 74 mm (h), all demonstrating moderate material fatigue consistent with age and use, in overall
