My guess is that this is a carved whimsy chain abandoned mid-way through

producing the same scale a semitone higher in each hole

I assume this wonderful aerodynamic-looking brass arrow was the topper on a weathervane

I believe these two are meant to be an apricot and a plum, though as one also finds stone fruit miniatures, they might also be taken as a smaller than actual sized under ripe peach and very ripe
